When Diana got married to prince Charles of England in 1981 she became the most talked about person in the world.
Her marriage which was held in St Paul’s cathedral was watched by nearly 1 billion people.
And since that day, it looked as if people could never get enough of her. News about her where everywhere.
People were fascinated with her, a commoner who was once a kindergarten teacher.
The attention she and her husband were receiving made her to be painfully shy and totally overwhelmed at first.
Early in their marriage, there were some reports which stated that Diana wasn’t very happy performing the duties expected of her as a royal princess. But in time she had to make adjustments so that she can fit into her new role. In time she started travelling and representing the royal family around the world in various functions. She quickly made it her goal to serve others which enabled her to raise funds for so many charitable causes.
During this process she built many important connections and relationships with politicians, organizers of humanitarian causes, entertainers, and heads of states.
Early on she was just a spokesperson and a fund-raiser, but as time went by her influence increased and so did her ability to make things happen.
She started a rallying cause for AIDS research, care for people with leprosy, and a ban on land mines.
She was such an influential person on world leaders.
On one of her visits to the United States just before her death she met with Clinton administrators in order to convince them to ban land mine devices. And within just a few weeks later they had to make changes.
When she was divorced from Prince Charles in 1996, she lost most of her title, but that loss did not reduce her impact on others but instead her influence continued to increase.

Even in her death she continued to influence others.
It was estimated that more than 2.5 billion people watched her funeral broadcast.
This number was more than twice the number of people who watched her wedding..
She was characterized in many ways but one word I can use to describe her is a LEADER.
Yes that’s what she was because she made things happen because she was an influencer, and when talking about leadership it’s all about influence, nothing more, and nothing less.

Nice story @izkeny 😉 but you'd better add the link to the source of the pictures if it doesn't belongs to you.

Everybody who has born before 1996 must be familiar with belated Princess Diana☺ I was lucky because I can see the wedding procession through neighbour's television at that time. She's a good role model for women in this world.

Thanks I appreciate @cicisaja, but
Am new here and still learning d basics.
How do I add link to the pictures.
I've been wondering how to do that.

Hello @izkeny. This is how you add the links to pictures you get online... [source](URL of the site you downloaded the image from).. Note: There should be no space b/w the last square bracket and the Normal bracket..

Thank you @essiential .. so glad that we still have so many helpers here on steemit. Try it @izkeny, you can ask any of us to guide you.😉
