Loosing My Lovely Dad.

Dad was a sadist, I knew that since when I was very young, he's always at my neck, ready to utter the fasted negative words a sad heart could think of, he just won't laugh, always frowning and never gets to appreciate things, but that didn't affect his ingenuity which he is good at, a structural engineer and an architect, very brilliant and design the most complicated edifice you can think of, some architectural masterpiece is stamped to his name till date, dad was genius in perfectly understanding how structures should reflect the name of an organization.

His later years on earth was spent on earth's sustainability, it occurred to my dad one day that if the amount of sands we mankind are using to build many structures isn't taken into consideration, we might be eaten our cake while not having it, thereby, by the time we finish eating it, no more cake, then hunger came and we have nothing anymore. The same is happening to our sand, we don't want to care now, now that we never cared to know where it's coming from, now that it can be dredged from the bottom of the sea or ocean, we never cared, since it's cheap to acquire, but we are eating the soil that will cover us when we die.

Dad was curious enough to start digging deep, he found so many things wrong with it but just doesn't know what he will do, so he thought of how to make an awareness, he did for some weeks but nobody listened. Two months into the whole thing he developed a stroke from nowhere and got hospitalized for months.

I thank God he is OK now, but dad wouldn't stop staring at this castle drawing of his inside his room, I just can't figure out what it's for.
