While you, that is in Africa, think the land is cursed, Optimists and risk takers usually describe it as the “world’s last frontier of lucrative business opportunities”. If you take a critical look at Africa, you will see two things depending on the kind of person you are, you will either see a land filled with problems and complains, and try to be like those guys that sell their lands to travel abroad, or you will see a virgin land filled with opportunities.

Take your minds away from crude oil, diamonds and other mineral resources, that has caused problems such as war and tribal killings in the land. Concentrate on the problems this resources has caused us.
While pessimists see a black and "nothing to offer" continent, those with sharp minds and good entrepreneurial spirit, tends to see great opportunities from the problems in Africa.

This article will take a deep look at some of the major problems of Africa, and how there can make wise investors into billionaires from only Africa alone

HUNGER
60% of the world's arable and un-cultivated lands is in Africa, with a very good climate condition for agriculture.
Did I forget to tell you that Africa has a very young population with over 65% of the population under 25 years of age. Yet many millions of people still go to bed without food in their tummy. As I speak to you through this article, Africa has not been able to produce enough food to feed itself, and still imports a large quantity of food to cushion this problem to an extent. In other to cater for its growing population, there are so many African countries that spend over 1/15 of their budget to import basic foods to feed it's population.

Africa's population growth is more like an exponential one, presently, there is over 1 billion people in Africa, but with the growth rate, it is predicted to be over 2.3 billion in the next 50 years. As you can see, with these number of mouths to feed, you can hardly ever go wrong with Agriculture, though in those days, agriculture well embraced, but now people prefer to get the "paid jobs", simply because they don't want to get their hands dirty, but with the present advancement in technology, you can farm with joy, yet Africans are still afraid of the stigma "I am a farmer".

UNEMPLOYMENT
With the one of the world's highest percentage of young people, unemployment is a terrible problem these people face. It is so bad that many has lost faith in getting any job. Young people in Africa who are capable and qualified, cannot get a decent job to feed themselves and take care of their needs. Though statistics may defer from source to source, but on the average over 50% of Africa's entire population is either unemployed or under employed. Firms like jobberman.com in Nigeria, play a good role in merging employee and employers together, there is also a different view to this problem.

Many persons in Africa do not have the necessary skills, training nor education to make them employable. So investors and entrepreneurs who can offer solutions in form of training, education and skills acquisition will definitely enjoy a good profit.
So, if you are an investor, simply solving this problem can be very profitable. job-seekers-queue-outside-a-jobcentre-plus-branch-in-london-bridge-on-picture-id85477878.jpeg

HEALTH CARE
Did you know that Africa has only 15% of the world's population yet we account for over 24% of all the diseases in the world. As an African these statistics is actually very painful and pitiable, little wonder we don't have much people above 70 years of age.

well, apart from the fact that our warm climate conditions favours the habitat of vectors like mosquitoes that cause a disease that is responsible for many deaths, especially in children, Africa has very poor access to quality health care, either due to lack of funds, education, or lack of the appropriate facilities. Malnutrition is also a good contributor to this problem. According to WHO infectious diseases is the major cause of illnesses and diseases in most developing countries. ? Well, apart from poor access to essential medicines and vaccines, low-quality healthcare, malnutrition, and poverty, our continent’s tropical (warm) climate favours the breeding of disease vectors (like mosquitoes which cause malaria).
Others include HIV/AIDS cholera, tuberculosis and measles. All these can be simply treated with the right medications.

Africa’s serious disease problem has led to many advancements in pharmaceutical products. All this problems in healthcare makes it almost impossible for an investment in this line to go wrong. Am entrepreneur can either solve the problem by providing appropriate pharmaceutical products, importation of the necessary facilities and machines, building enough health care facility, and so on.

  1. ELECTRICITY
"The dark continent", name most people call Africa, which has been supported in a way, by astronauts who say when you look at Africa in the night from outer space, it looks like an empty area. Needless to say that the electricity supply in Africa is so poor, there is barely power to run industrial plants, computers, charging of mobile phones, and so on.

Did you know that in many countries in Africa, less than 25% of the population has access to electricity?
Most rural areas will tell you they don't know what electricity is, lol, just exaggerating a bit there, but the situation is so bad there. It is believed that electricity has a big role to play in the development of a nation, and people are ready to pay lots of money to have a bit of power, apart from comfort, business too. A friend of mine makes a lot of money from simply charging people's mobile phone batteries.
So as an entrepreneur, what are you waiting for?

CONCLUSION
Have you noticed that most of the richest men in Africa are the ones that invested in Africa? If you are an African, you can do something, no matter the scale, here in Africa, and still make something out of it. If you are an investor or entrepreneurs, you can hardly go wrong here. Africa has a very fast growing economy, example; Nigeria. The time is now.

Thanks..
