Wait On! Believe!
Dear Fam,
I know you are tired, depressed, frustrated, hungry and angry!
Yes, I am well aware that you have not been lazy either, hence the amplification of the above-listed phenomena.
You haven't had a decent meal in a long time. Your clothes are old and worn out. Your phone is bad, and barely has a functional camera. You sparsely have 3 pairs of footwear. An almost-ripped pair of shoes, a flattened-sole pair of sandals, and a dirty, ragged pair of flips.
You are bright and brimming with ideas and again, you aren't lazy--as a matter of emphasis. So, 'what's wrong with me' is your usual thought!
Your country has failed you, but leaving the country is no easy feat. You can't even afford an International Passport, let alone Visa fee.
Don't worry... All will be well soon--I believe!
This post is meant to instruct you to chin-up, regardless of whatever you are going through.
Though it's not rocket science, and I am not here to lie to you that you won't face greater adversities--no, no--challenges, Iam only here to remind you that very soon, all these things will soon be forgotten, and you'd be faced with bigger challenges that aren't rooted in: poverty, misery, frustration and bitterness.
Rather, you'd be faced with the ambivalence of choices rooted in luxury. All the known brands today won't even match the ones you will rock when it's your time, rest assured!
Chin up and keep your belief alive!
Bret.
