Technological advancement especially blockchain is associated with numerous advantages that cut across different sectors of the economy. Blockchain pave ways for development of frameworks that solves real life problems yet multidisciplinary learning remains a challenging tasks in medical education on both graduate and post graduate levels; it is for this reason that Voxelx is being developed.

WHAT IS VOXELX ?
Voxelx is an intended multidisciplinary learning platform with a mission of creating a revolutionary online DICOM-platform aimed at stimulating medical learning.
DICOM which is an acronym for Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine is a standard for storing and transmitting medical images enabling the integration of medical imaging devices such as scanners, servers, workstations, printers, network hardware and picture archiving and communication system (PACS) from multiple manufacturers. DICOM has been reported to be widely adopted by hospitals thus making inroads into smaller application like Dentists and Doctors offices.

HOW VOXELX WORKS

The Voxelx community is a place where learners, publishers and validators interact with each others either privately or publicly. Members share knowledge of common interest, such knowledge can be prevalidated and monetized thus encouraging members especially radiologist in becoming content publishers as well as validators of Voxelx platform.
