The slider bar helps keep your voting power from draining too fast. If you find it's going down too fast, then simply adjust your voting percentage down. :D
This Steemit has many different and moving parts! It's hard to believe it takes 5 days to recover Steem voting power! 2 or 3 days makes a lot more sense. I wonder if the bigger Steemit gets the longer the waiting periods will be?
@stealhtrader I think that as time goes on, the devs will be able to balance human and bot traffic to optimize the user experience.
There are times that I have an active interest in curating a specific topic, but there are bots that always push legit comment/questions/conversations to the bottom.
I think the key is takeaways from Beta. It'll be interesting to see how it all shakes down.

this seems very bad.... but i think its to stop the whales from printing free money.... they were the ones responsible for the ridiculous steem price

as long as bots can be used to do the voting i dont see that getting any shorter, im surprised they upped the voting rewards
