I agree with your article's ending about Steemit and voting on a decentralized platform.

This is the real reason why America has elections:

Vote whoever you want in, the President is "protected" by Secret Service, whose main job is to ensure no one counterfeits or messes with the Federal Reserve's money. Hence JFK.

The only chance we have to free ourselves from a completely fake money system is to use the states to enact article 5 by putting congressman in office who will do what we want.

Then we can institute an anarchistic system like steemit in society that is decentralized and has the same type of voting system, and benefits everyone. So that voting actually matters again.

Right now people are voting between Coke and Pepsi and they should know both choices are bad for them but they don't.

Well said, the 2-party system is a joke, although i think it's just a system any self-organising society converges to before it finds a need to decentralise. I think it's pretty much the same everywhere?
