Work

Sammie had a long day of greeting people at the shop and is resting up for her other job as night security. Sammie earns leftovers from lunch and dinner and occasionally gets a toy from the bosses wife in payment.

It's Friday and I have a couple of odd jobs that I can do when I am healthy enough to do them. A family member temporarily pays me to roll their tobacco for them. Usually I get about $50 a week for that and then I mow their lawn for an extra $40.

House Maintenance

It seems the van still has bad vibration and the timing is fine and we fixed the fuel and replaced a transmission mount, checked spark and compression. The harmonic balancer seems ok and no pullies all check out as well. I have $4,400 into repairs and it seems endless at times. I have no idea what is wrong with this thing.

Dangers of the State

Last night I went out to dinner at 6:45 pm. I stopped at Buffalo Wild Wings in southern Wisconsin. I waited to find the perfect spot in the shade. I parked the car in the shade and left the windows half down so Sammie wouldn't jump out. I let the door person know my dog is in the car and if someone asks, come get me. Well being 90 degrees out, statists are conditioned to call the police if they see a dog unattended in a car. This collectivist didn't look at my dog, pay attention to the car being in the shade and didn't notice the time apparently. They called the police.

The police showed up and luckily Sammie didn't try to greet him like she is accustomed to do all people. The officer took note of the time 7 pm, he check the dog and saw no signs of distress, even with the temperature being do high. The officer headed inside and the door girl told him I was in the bar. I saw him and I darted outside to make sure Sammie was ok. The officer chased me outside and once I saw she was ok I let him catch me. After answering the questions about my panic and running away, he shook my hand (assuring me I'm a good pet owner) and ask me to get my food to go so he doesn't get another call.

Lesson learned, statists don't use common sense when calling the police. They fall back on their conditioning from the news.
