Doesn't seem to be a false alarm thinking of thousands without their homes at the moment and in need to be helped during the waiting time. It's a disaster already as of now. Animals left behind need to be rescued, people need food and water in their shelters......can you imagine what would happen when the ash starts moving around the island.

Rio Helmi, a photographer on place writes :

Scenes from the sports arena in Klungkung this morning after heavy rainfall beginning around 2am flooded the tents outside stadium. Hats off to the Bupati who apparently showed up to help at around 3am. There are around 4000 evacuees here and a total of around 16000 in all of Klungkung according to staff here.

I can imagine when the ash starts moving. I visited several small villages to the south of Mt Agung, and can imagine how disruptive it will be for the people that live there. I'll be hoping for the best.

It's already a big disaster, thinking of
Thousands evacuated and just waiting.....
