Submarine Volcano Lo'ihi Off Coast of Big Island: Waking Up?steemCreated with Sketch.

I noticed recently that there's been an uptick of off-shore small earthquakes ranging from 2.0 to 3.0 to even a 4.0 in an area south east of Big Island where the submarine volcano, Lo'ihi is located.

With the recent Lower Puna eruption between May 2018 to August 2018 ... anything is possible.

I do believe those small earthquake activity and swarms around Mauna Loa and Lo'ihi indicate that the magma may be protruding or applying pressure in places elsewhere from Kilauea ... as the Halemaumau Crater and Pu'u O'o both still do not have magma filled back in their respective craters ... to me indicates that the magma is traveling and/or is somewhere else at the moment.

While we are in the "lull" period .. I personally feel that the volcanic eruptions in Hawaii are NOT over yet.

We shall see.
