So much this. I used to go out of my way to do the stuff I do for people for nothing. NOTHING! I had a chip on my shoulder, something to prove. I'd dispense marketing advice for free, offer to help people with their websites, etc. I'd give car and motorcycle parts away and spend HOURS helping people get their vehicles back on the road. I have since learned my lesson. Now I do not touch a wrench or a keyboard unless there's a darn good chance I'm going to get paid for it!!!
