Offense is in vogue

in #vogue6 years ago

Nowadays it is fashionable to be offended by everything, especially by the way someone else thinks. You see it on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. and it's that for many people social networking makes everything easier. Of course, because being behind a keyboard gives many people the right and freedom to express whatever they want.

Every day people are seen arguing about other people's lives, about people they may not even know; that seems pathetic and embarrassing to me. Recently, I saw a person writing to a family member in a status about how outraged and disappointed she was about him. That's definitely not right, social networking is not for that. As they say, dirty laundry is washed in the house'.

I'm clear that you have to have respect for everyone, even those who use nets that way, but where do they leave respect for other people? I've reached the point where I prefer not to go into controversial issues to avoid. It's not fear of different opinions, it doesn't really bother me that anyone thinks differently. It is rather to avoid the dynamics of certain inattentive people. It is definitely not worth going into"dimes and diretes" with them, much less when they take on all the staff.

In a world where RESPECT is disappearing all that remains is to avoid. Avoid feeding those people who are looking for someone to take it out on. One must learn to ignore, not because one has nothing to say, but because one is the wisest.

If you see a comment, a photo, a"whatever" that someone posted and didn't like; do your part and RESPECT. If you do not say your name, it is NOT FOR YOU and if you took it personally then use wise means to discuss and resolve the problem with that person.

Not all of us have to think the same way, not all of us have to like the same thing, we don't have to be the same. Let us learn to accept differences and to live in peace and harmony.
