MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. awaken
    She wasn't properly awakened during the exam.

  2. amuse
    I tried to amuse my mom so she will forget easier about the loss she had.

  3. assure
    I assured my sister that she will take all the exams with no problem because she's an intelligent person.

  4. appoint
    I wanted to appoint a meetup in my country but not too many were interested..

  1. Awaken.
    Her mother was there to awaken her daughter early because of the inclement weather.

  2. Amuse.
    The teacher looked amused at some of her student's answers to the test question.

  3. Assure.
    The singer didn't take long to assure her audience that she had completely recovered from the car accident, and was ready to rock!

  4. Appoint
    The school board had to appoint a new superintendent after the scandal surrounding the former one, for nearly a year, was forced out.

MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. I believe that coma patients can be awaken with the aid of some naturally occurring sounds like that of a singing bird.
  2. The audience was amused, when the artist said he would call the cops on their wallets if they didn't tip him.
  3. I assure you, it's difficult to make huge profits in a market that is already down.
  4. The Chairman has insisted that he would only appoint a female assistant to his office this year.

    You awaken in the room where the string-like plant raises it's tendrils.

  2. Amuse:
    In the cavern is where we are going to amuse the tourists who have the largest bags.

  3. Assure:
    If you ever look in the past for the trophies, you will be assured of who was in front.

  4. Appoint:
    Can't Bill appoint a senior manager with experience instead of hiring his grand-children's children to the position?
