  2. The newly elected president had temporary tenure on the White House till his term of office ended in four years time.

  1. Contain:
    Are you going to contain your excitement or am I going to have to give you ridalin to calm you down?

  2. Obtain:
    The only goal worth obtaining is that of true happiness.

  3. Tenure:
    I've heard that the teachers who have tenure tend to start disappearing from campus.

  4. Tenacious:
    You would not believe how tenacious that dog is about digging holes under the fence and taking a stroll around the neighborhood.

“MY VOCAB PRACTICE.”

  1. I just can’t CONTAIN my happiness knowing that they are expecting their first child.
  2. Have you OBTAINED the necessary requirements to get a passport?
  3. This special rule is applicable until the end of my TENURE.
  4. I have always admired her steadfast and TENACIOUS personality.

MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. Some people just can’t eat anything or any kinds of food that contains nuts in them due to allergy of some kind.

  2. Educators think it is vital for people to go to school to obtain a degree that will enable them to be a good contributor to society.

  3. Some employees can’t go up the ladder until those tenure positions desired has been vacated by those employees.

  4. The young attorney is tenacious on his principles of convictions toward justice for all.

MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. Contain:
    In today's football training, the main training the club players need is how to contain the ball.

  2. Obtain:
    I had to obtain good marks at the end of the term to be able to convince my father to pay school fees for me next term.

  3. Tenure:
    My father had to tenure a fresh land with enough grass to graze his live stock.

  4. Tenacious:
    He had to be tenacious in order to proceed to the next level.

"MY VOCAB PRACTICE."

  1. Contain.
    The crowd could hardly contain their excitement before the big game.

  2. Obtain.
    She's going to obtain her nursing degree this coming Fall 2019.

  3. Tenure.
    She worked on campus and started out as a student assistant, worked through college and then got a professorship at the local University, where tenure is offered after an extensive amount of time served.

  4. Tenacious.
    She had a tenacious grip on her purse, as the stray dog tried to grab it with it's teeth.
