RE: Vocab-ability–135 (mania = enthusiasm, madness) – A More Powerful Vocabulary (earn UpVotes with “Vocab Practice” exercise)

MY VOCAB PRACTICE

  1. He comes across as an egomaniac, asking all the passengers in the train cubicle whether his new hairstyle suits him.

  2. The politician obviously suffers from megalomania, conjuring up visions of global military and economic hegemony for his newly independent nation in an impassioned speech.

  3. The erotographomaniac and dipsomaniac kept each other company throughout the night, with the former fervently writing love letters to his mistress and the latter indulging in whiskey and brandy.
