In 1964 he met Jhoon Rhee at the International Karate Competition. Both came out good, later John Rhee invited Bruce to Washington, D.C. to attend a tournament. He discusses with James Yimm Lee plans to open the second "Tran Phan Vo Quan" in Oakland, CA. The plan was made, and Bruce moved to Seattle to start a second martial arts practice in Oakland. A good friend of Lee, Taky Kimura, assumes the role of the head.
August 2, 1964 (24 Years): Ed Parker, known as the father of American Karate (Kenpo), invites Bruce to perform. And England performed "One Hit" with 2 fingers. At the first international Karate Championships, Jay Sebring, a William Tailier producer, was looking for an actor for a television series he was working on. Sebring then made the film "Bruce's Demonstration" for Dozier who was so impressed with Bruce's supernatural abilities. Then Bruce flew to Los Angeles to perform.
August 4, 1964 (24 years old): Bruce returns to Seattle to propose to Linda.
