I'm Not Original, But I am Authentic | The Difference Between Originality & Authenticity
0% Original, 100% Authentic
In this video, I clear up some differences between originality and authenticity. I explain that it is impossible to be original like @dnews mentioned in his video yesterday. But it is possible to be authentic and true to yourself in whatever you chose to do in life.
There is a huge difference, and it is not to be mistaken. It is okay to be influenced by other content creators if thats what you love to do! But its not okay to do things because the rewards you may get. As long as you are doing what you love, and what you are passionate about, you will be happy!! If you do things because of the reward, it will start to feel like job. It is something that has happened to me, and if you would like to know more about my experience...youre gunna have to watch my video!

I think what you're saying is absolutely true. And it's very important especially in the beginning to try to listen to yourself and figure out what you wanna share here. I think it's sometimes hard, since Steemit is full of interesting people and topics, so it's quite easy to be influenced by others so that you loose your own thing. For example I'm not sure if I even have my own thing yet...

There's actually a notable difference. The truth is informational, what happened, what you did, etc whereas honesty is disclosing your complete feelings and thoughts on a matter. Two very different things.
