#freeidea 001 Online "Country" of the Future.

This is the first of a series I'm calling it #freeideas. It's going to start as a rant video of ideas I have floating around and I just openly talk about it.
This time I want to start a conversation about what the future of the internet will look like. I imagine there being what can be compared to Nation states but on the internet. I already think that social media platforms like Facebook is basically like an equivalent to a city. People go there, people live there, people interact there. All that's missing is its own currency, which is going to happen likely soon with crypto currencies at the edge of mainstream adoption and innovation.
Ushering in new frontiers in what it means to be a "citizen" of the internet, citizen of the world, and what freedom really means and whether most common people are even ready to embrace these new concepts. I predict they wouldn't. It's beyond any standard thought and only the most imaginative and forward thinking will embrace it at first. But like any technology with an inevitable paradigm shift awaiting in time, people will eventually opt to have their lives in virtual reality, than in the flesh. Abandoning biological limitations and living purely on IDEAS. Economies will form, lives will be lived there. What do you think? How will people organize themselves? Who will rule? How will we protect ourselves? So many questions.
