Why I´ve Made A Full Transition From YouTube To DTube
Hello everyone, I am Edwin.
I was a YouTuber for over 2 and a half years, sadly, for a small content creator YouTube wasnt the best place lately with the list of problems growing every day.
That is why I decided to post all of my videos on DTube with a lot of exclusive videos just here on this amazing platform.
I hope to see more and more creators every day moving from YouTube to DTube. :)
Have a nice day!

steemit platform is the way forward
YouTube is definitely a dead platform for creators at this point. Besides the mass demonetization, the ad revenues are rock bottom, and relying on such an outdated revenue model was likely to collapse at some point. You can no longer make a living there unless you're getting like a quarter million views a day or better, even then it wouldn't be much. I shut my ads back in January after realizing the 17,000+ views from Dec, along with 600+ hours of watch time earned me a measly $7. 500+ videos I produced in a year and a half, and I get nothing for it. What's the point of working for nothing, Google is worthless.
I am happy that they decided to help out at least bigger YouTubers with huge huge fanbases, it is kinda sad when you think that some of them with huge channels do potentially make less money with add revenue than me with DTube(I am not trying to brag, but YouTube NEEDS to treat their content creators much much better than they are actually doing)
Yeah, there's creators with a half million views a day who're barely scraping by to make ends meet. YouTube does not have a sustainable business model it seems, and I think the underlying problem lays in the hands of Google's failed leadership. Google made the mistake of putting people into positions of power based solely on their education, rather than their experience and capability. A huge mistake.
I like your post and you are right. Youtube has so many problems. I really hate the advertisement while you are in the middle of watching a video.
Yes, the ads interrupting videos is the biggest annoyance. It's worse than television commercial breaks, because the videos posted to Youtube usually aren't formatted for commercial breaks, so the video just gets interrupted at a random point. It's frustrating to watch.
Yes ! Its not like that before, at first before starting the video there is an ad and now between those video frames is also an ad.
your post was so important for me..youtube has so many problems.thanks for share this post..but dtube is future... right?
I am also youtuber in last 5 months, but youtuber every year new policies in market, but dtube is amazing platform.
I am also join dtube, today 1 hour ago I post 1st video.
it seems that youtube is censoring anything that questions the government or main stream news agenda of socialism. only liberal socialist and communist agenda are ok. Meanwhile they have lots of pornography on youtube and thats ok.
Welcome and power to you.
The future!
I can remember when I earned over a $100 a month on a free web page, showing a public domain cartoon and some google ads back in the day.Today, before being "demonized" I did not earn that much in a year.My final payout was around £60 uk a few weeks back. We talk about YT problems -well here is one that has affected a lot of creators, AD BLOCKERS. I can view the YT platform all day and never see an advert, because I use an ad blocker. Some have cottoned on to this and now ask you to turn off your adblocker before you can view.Despite their image of sophistication Google are a little behind and will continue to lose revenue and blame small creators as "bad actors" "spammers" or whatever other title they wish to bestow upon us creators.
