I wish you a lot of success in your project! I also need to diversify my income, making a living from Steem would be a dream come true, but at the moment it's not possible. I've managed to accumulate some Steem because I do not have a lot of expenses and financial responsibilities but I'm running out of time and I need to star producing real money. I still believe in crypto and I still think Steem can succees but as you say, it needs time. Greetings from Mexico.
It is possible, but not for us obviously... I mean it depends, which country you live in and how much SP do you have at disposal :P

I got into Steemit in the beginning of the year, in the first few weeks I made a decent amount, if I had continued making that I would have been possible for me to live of Steem. The price drop and also the rewards.
I live in Mexico and I don't have many expenses, I have almost 800 SP, it's still not enough though, but the current state is helping me accumulate Steem Powe.
