Laura's 13-foot surge threat forces widespread evacuations on southwest Louisiana coast
"Catastrophic life-threatening flooding is expected, and between the combination of storm surge flooding and the rainfall -- which is expected to be between 5 and 10 inches with up to 15 inches possible -- we are expecting the possibility of high-water rescues, people trapped in homes,"
Interesting article about the storm surge that Louisiana and Texas are going to get from the hurricane Laura. Looks bad for that area, the storm is getting bigger, not good. The only good thing is that the area that it's supposed to hit is not that populated relative to other areas near by. I know those people don't need anything else to worry about with the virus and all, I'm still hoping for the best for them. Hopefully this will be the last storm that they or anyone else will have to worry about this season.....
