Gov. John Bel Edwards commits to 25-28% emissions cut by 2025, 'net zero' in Louisiana by 2050

Louisiana’s emissions come from a variety of sources, including production of oil and gas at wells, the use of oil and gas as fuel and in refineries and petrochemical manufacturing, and from car, truck and ship traffic.

Interesting article about how Louisiana is trying to cut emissions and how likely that is going to be. Considering that Louisiana depends on oil and gas for a big portion of its budget I find this highly unlikely. The article even states that a project the governor is endorsing will double air pollution in St. James Parish, not exactly going in the right direction. And of course this governor will be out of office anyway, so no harm for him to commit to something that can't be blamed on him.

He better worry about the two storms heading his way.

It's looking better and better for the New Orleans area, where a lot of the people live.

A local guy is saying it might Mobile, AL, whatever that is worth.

Interesting....
