Corps aims to spend $2 billion on higher levees, stronger floodwalls along Mississippi River
The Louisiana parts of the upgrades, which are aimed at both sides of the river, would include more than 140 miles of levee lifts of as much as 3 feet, with most between 1 and 2 feet, and the replacement of nearly 8 miles of floodwalls with stronger and taller walls.
Interesting article about the Corps plan to raise the levees along the Mississippi River and what it will cost. Here's an idea, build some fresh water diversions all along the River that is needed to preserve the wetlands anyway, and would have the benefit of lowering the amount of water in the River, thus the Corp wouldn't need to build higher levees. It's a win win for the people and the environment. Humans need to work with nature nit against it, just my two cents.....

They're committed to it now, they can't let the levees fail
Yep, better to over build than under build, especially using someone else's money
Crypto is not the place to be right now, I should have sold all I had, not looking good at all
Taking a hit too
I'm not even going to look at it for the rest of the weekend
The markets in general look like they are on a cliff, could fall over at any point, I've been selling
I'm selling some too
Can't go wrong with cash
Gold and silver might follow a market sell off too
I haven't sold any of those stocks
Me either, but I was in a buying stage for them
