VIRTUE HAS ITS OWN REWARD

Have you ever thought that you get more than you deserve? Or often you get rid of your great problems without anyone’s help? Let’s think this in another paradigm, sometimes you get the rewards of those virtues which are negligible near you, but as per Allah’s promise, He never forgets the good deed done for his humanity. 

Here I am going to share a short story which will make you think that this old saying, virtue has its own reward is most near to the reality.

It was a scheduled day, everyone was leaving for home after a routine job, all the tired faces were exiting the door of slaughterhouse one by one. He was about to leave but all of a sudden, the door of the freezer got shut. He was worried and nervous, he was unable to understand what to do next. He cried and screamed but no one was there to help him, he knew that if anyone won’t come, his body will get frozen. There was nothing but death coming towards him, he cried but he knew that it was useless. He started praying ALLAH, “oh the Lord of Yousuf and Younus, you are the best helper, you accepted their prayers and helped them in coming out of their problems, if ever my any deed has been accepted near you, help me! I will never discontinue it till my last breath.” 

The next moment suddenly the gatekeeper came rushing in the freezer and escaped him from there, he wrapped him in a blanket and kept him near the heater. When his condition was better, he asked the gatekeeper that how he came to know that he was in need. The gatekeeper replied that, he had been working in this factory for last 20 years, but never anyone accept this man paid attention towards his existence, he added that, whenever you come in you pay salam and whenever you leave you to say Allah hafiz, today I heard the Salam, but was waiting for you to leave, when it took too long then I came in to check that you might be in a great problem.

MORAL

Never leave small good deeds by thinking that they are little, the may be great near your Lord, you might be unaware.
