This is completely cool and is exactly the kind of thing I've been waiting for ever since I first started playing around with computers in the early 1980s, but....
I think I'll wait a couple more years for the implants, wearing that thing on my face doesn't seem like the right solution.
The current generation of VR headsets are not perfect yet, but are already pretty good, though still quite expensive.
