Deer cub
In the forests of Montana, wildlife photographer Ethan Parker went out to take pictures as usual. It was morning, and there was a stillness; there were no animals or sounds around, just a complete silence.
After walking 3 kilometers, he spotted a decoy used for hunting training.
As he got closer, he saw a little deer peacefully sleeping beside the decoy. Seeing its innocent face filled Ethan's heart.
It felt as though the little deer considered the decoy to be its mother and felt safe sleeping next to it.
Ethan watched it for a long time, hoping and praying that its mother would come to it. But that didn’t happen.
Then he searched for signs of the deer’s mother but felt a sense of realization that the little deer was completely alone.
He contacted the wildlife team, and they found out that it might have been abandoned due to a lack of water, causing the deer to lose its herd. The wildlife team took it to their center for care.
