Virat Kohli - The Sensation
The most important thing for a sportsperson is his determination and dedication towards his goal to win. Winning or losing is a part of game but losing confidence is something that breaks a person within no matter how strong the person is within or from outside. Virat Kohli is presently one of the biggest names in the history of cricket. He has achieved so much in his carrier till now that any other ordinary cricketer cannot even dream of having those achievements.
The journey of this small little chubby boy started from some random street of the capital of India which is New Delhi. That small boy who was completely unknown from the future he had engraved on the lines of his hands and just knew to handle the bat from those hands. His father played a huge role in his life in his early days to become a cricketer. Being so close to his dearly father it came as an ultimate shocking for him about the sudden demise of his father. The young lad was heartbroken at that time but after completing all the rituals, the very next day he went on to play for the domestic competition and scored a century out there. Such was his dedication towards this sport.
In 2008, the under-19 Indian cricket team led by Virat Kohli came out to be victorious and Indian was crowned as the Under-19 champions for the second time. It was in the same year when the Indian Premiere League was first introduced also popularly known as IPL. Back then, the 8 teams were allowed to pick any one player from the victorious Under-19 Indian team. The Royal Challengers Bangalore picked up Virat Kohli from that draft which came as a surprise to him as him being a Delhi boy was expecting to be picked up by the Delhi team. Virat however did not performed anything so special or worth remembering among the audience in the inaugural season.
