THE BIGGEST SHAADI OF THE YEAR", "VIRAT KOHLI AND ANUSHKA SHARMA TO SAY 'I DO' IN DECEMBER", the rumour mills are on an overdrive, but sorry to burst the bubble, the wedding bells are not going to chime for the flamboyant cricket captain and the vivacious actress just yet. On Monday evening, it was learnt in cricket circles that Captain Kohli had asked the BCCI for time off in December, to excuse himself from the Test Matches and One Day Internationals scheduled for the month. The 29-year-old-cricketer cited personal reasons - as soon as the news broke, the obvious speculation being "it is because of the much awaited wedding."

Virat and Anushka, who met four years ago whilst shooting a shampoo commercial, also recently starred in a wedding-themed advert together. Their on-screen rapport apart, the endearing 'vows' exchanged between the two in the commercial brought a smile to the most cynical of us when it comes to tele romances. Yes, we all wished the reel affair to be translated into real but for that we would have to wait a while.

When asked about the speculated December wedding, the talent agency which manages Anushka's career, told "These are just rumours doing the rounds. No truth to it."

On the other hand, sports circles also confirmed that the Team India Captain has asked for time off since it's been a hectic calendar for him already. In a recent interview to NDTV, Anushka had also denied any plans of a restaurant business with Virat, saying: "The information was wrong."

The couple have been snapped on vacations together and other public platforms but for now it seems that marriage is not on the cards just yet.
