Hi there! Just wanted to fill you in on a little bit of news. Fair use doesn't apply to the copyrighted music that you're streaming right now. If you haven't checked out the awesome post that @ddrfr33k made about Copyright for us, you should probably do that soon:

We're not going to block your stream, but be aware that the music you're broadcasting can put some undue heat on us. If we do receive a DMCA complaint, we will be forced to act.

Thankfully, there are ways to mitigate this. You can purchase a broadcast license from the rights holders (@ddrfr33k does this already, ask him if you need help), or you can check out some of the amazing Creative Commons music that's out there. Seriously, there's some insanely talented artists out there, making some awesome music along the way. If you already have a broadcast license, DM one of the Devs on the discord and let us know. We want to make sure your stream stays shiny side up and keeps us shiny side up too!

Hey, thanks for the heads up. Definitely not trying to cause any problems.

Definitely not trying to cause any problems.

Few people are. Most people just don't know. And admittedly, it's not the easiest thing to understand. That's why we try and help others learn and grow from these experiences, you know?
