Going to play some Fallout76 tonight inbetween calls and after! If I'm offline I'll be back sooner than later! With my long weekend already half over, it's time to enjoy some more Fallout! I am actually wondering if other steemians that play fallout are interested in playing. It would be nice to have a group of steemians to play with. While each team can only have a maximum of four, it would be sweet to see a large group working together to dominate an area. I suppose that would probably be overkill.
400 Pound Weight limit in your Stash
After struggling with the weight limit of "My Stash" I am still struggling a bit but learning to deal with it. Many legendary pieces will be thrown out and sometimes I feel like just purging all my "AID" stash by selling to a vendor. This is where weight reduction perks and strength becomes literally the most important skill in the game. You have to be able to carry and it is very easy to fill up your stash! Selling to a vendor is actually annoying and there aren't that many items that are worth much. A player to player trading economy would be hard to establish especially since there's no in-game chat.
C.A.M.P. vs Workshops
I still need to relocate my C.A.M.P. and have determined it may be useful to have a smaller base with just what I need. After all, I spend most of my time off my base. This will make moving my base easier as I feel the need to frequently relocate may be desirable. This means taking down everything I build for the move or I lose half the materials. For now, finding a flat piece of land with a water source would be ideal!
My last stream post I mentioned that I found a workshop that can be temporarily taken over and you must protect the workshop base from NPC attacks and other people can try to take it from you. Leaving the game server forfeits your claim. These workshops could be used as very strategic points as you can even place mining rigs over the veins. I could see a team people working together to have a bigger base by taking over a workshop together but if everyone logs out getting back to the workshop would be impossible. There are a few pro's and con's I can think of regarding this mechanic.
I'm reading a lot of bad reviews for the game and many are finding it easy. I can admit that it is a bit easy mode. I think I would prefer the enemies be bullet sponges. To be honest I am not even sure what the story line is and there seems to be no story line at all. With Fallout 4 I was fully immersed in the story line while with this game I'm just running from point to point. Still enjoying it and look forward to dropping a nuke!
Given the backstory that this is only 25 years after the bombs fell and given the fact that I've played Fallout 4 to completion, I can look past the lack of a good story line because it's online, something I wanted for Fallout 4 but I am willing bet future updates or expansions will make things better, but even I can say I am a little disappointed with what I'm working towards when it comes to game progression.
When I joined Steemit I made the decision to always Power-Up my earnings. For now, payouts are set to 50/50 but you bet I will convert & Power Up! Besides internal transfers, I have never cashed out and don't plan on it! Power-Up only!
