But after the abolition of the zamindari system, he went to Juggalos with zamindars. For this reason, Haturiya is famous as one of the elite areas and commercial centers of Greater Pabna. The reputation of the village spread to Calcutta.

The elderly said that the first two zamindars were living, but their numbers continued to grow. At one stage, in the year 1915, there were 13 zamindars in the village. They are - Pramathnath Bagchi, Kanchinath Bagchi, KaliSandar Roy, Upendranath Bagchi, Kishore Chandra Roy, Bhabanicharan Bagchi, Suresh Chandra Roy, Kshudiram Pal, Sudhangamohan Roy, Jadunath Bhowmik, Shaktanath Roy, Jatindranath Bhowmik and Bankim Roy. They lived in the village until the end of zamindari tradition.

Locals further said, in one village so many landlords lived together but there was no conflict between them. But the ongoing competition in different festivals. Each of them had a house in Calcutta. Consequently, after the abolition of the zamindari system, they all settled in Calcutta permanently.

Today, most of the zamindars' buildings have become ruins. Some families living somewhere in the building are living at risk. Deepak Goswami, 50, of such a family, said that one place in his building was engraved in the year 1911. The name of the manufacturer was Umeshchandra Roy Bahadur, father of landlord, Kashirad Chandra Rai.

It is a matter of discussion with Monwar Hossain, a lecturer in History Department of Bera Manjur Kader Mahila College. He said that it is necessary to preserve these historical monuments to know better about zamindari system. However, the 13-odd landlord Haturiya is now facing many problems. There is no internal road in the village; No water drainage system. As a result, the whole village is submerged in the rainy season. Many families of the village have been destitute due to erosion, lack of urgency is now their constant companion.

Villagers further said that due to lack of due, large parts of the village boys and girls are now inclined towards earning instead of education. Besides, there is a lot of childhood and polygamy tendencies in the village.

Local UP Chairman Mostafizur Rahman said that the village of Zamindar is known as Haturia suffers from many problems. As well as solving these problems, it is necessary to take initiative to preserve the heritage of the heritage.
