A few weeks ago a great friend told me about a series that would blow my mind with its super deep themes. I got a lot of laughter at the "how" he put it and I agreed to see her with her. The first chapter that I could enjoy was "Bandersnatch", which is actually an incredible feature film about a young man who is involved in the development of a decision-making video game. The first impression I had was literally one of complete and absolute amazement, it took me hours to lower the euphoria that was in me for this very good plot that I had seen.

This week, after getting the chapters of the first seasons, I started to see it and enjoy it. I already had a certain morbid power to see a series that caught me with its plot and that is that since "The Outsider" of HBO, I could not enjoy anything like it.I threw myself to see the first season as a good person and manage its three episodes in one per day.

The first episode left me with that flavor of hatred and reflection of: "No matter how bad it is, people will see it only because of the morbidity of being part of the conversation." The episode focuses on an unpleasant act that may or may not save the life of someone really important to British society.It seemed strange and creepy to me the scoop with an act as degenerate as sexual practice with an animal was, but on the other hand it seemed even worse that the people who were given the opportunity to observe this live could not help doing it. knowing how gross the scene was.

The second episode left me a reflection of: "Either you are part of the system or you die trying". The episode focused on a dystopian world where the protagonist works hard for nothing in particular beyond eating and watching entertainment. If you are talented enough you can make it to shows that are broadcast within the same space where you work to entertain others. In the development of the chapter, he falls in love and helps this person to achieve his dream (singing in the shows) but between it, he loses that person due to a manipulation of the judges of the talent show. The contained anger made him return to work hard to see himself face to face with the judges and then throws thousands of valid arguments regarding his daily life that are stopped with a proposal to be part of the system or die in the place where he worked non stop.

The third episode touched my heart for being one in which I felt very identified with what happened. The plot centers on a young man who lives in a society where everyone has a chip that stores their memories. This chip allows you to relive events and share them with others through a screen. In all this context, he goes to a meeting of friends and begins to suspect his wife and another subject about an alleged romance. After constantly analyzing it, he discovers that if it is true that his wife cheated on him, and worse still, that his daughter was not his but the other man's. Everything was discovered after a night where he devoted himself to seeing his memories to find the truth of everything, in it he goes to the subject and asks him in the middle of his intoxication to erase all the memories of his wife and notices something curious. Upon returning home he asks his wife a series of questions and there she confesses what she did.

Without a doubt my favorite episode of this series (until now) for feeling like that young man and his bad luck. Something very similar happened to me a few years ago and I relived everything that had happened. The worst thing is that I acted several times like him, calculatingly and turning all the events around until I found what happened, with the truth.

Hace unas semanas una gran amiga me hablo sobre una serie que volaría mi cabeza con sus temáticas súper profundas. Me dió mucha risa el "cómo" lo planteó y accedí a verla con ella. El primer capítulo que pude disfrutar fue "Bandersnatch", que en realidad es un largometraje increíble sobre un joven que se envuelve en el desarrollo de un videojuego de toma de decisión. La primera impresión que tuve fue literal de asombro pleno y absoluto, me tomó horas poder bajar la euphoria que se hallaba en mi por esta trama tan buena que había visto.

Esta semana, después de conseguir los capítulos de las primeras temporadas, comencé a verla y disfrutar de ella. Ya tenía cierto morbo el poder ver una serie que me atrapara con su trama y es que desde "The Outsider" de HBO, no pude disfrutar de nada parecido. Me arrojé a ver la primera temporada como buena persona y gestionar sus tres episodios en uno por día.

El primer episodio me dejó ese sabor de odio y reflexión de: "No importa que tan malo sea, la gente lo verá solo por el morbo de ser parte de la conversación". El episodio se centra en un acto desagradable que puede salvar o no la vida de alguien realmente importante para la sociedad británica. Me pareció raro y espeluznante la primicia con un acto tan degenerado como lo fue la práctica sexual con un animal, pero por otro lado me pareció peor aún que las personas a las cuales se les dió la oportunidad de observar esto en vivo no pudieran evitar hacerlo sabiendo lo asqueroso que la escena era.

El segundo episodio me dejó una reflexión de: "O eres parte del sistema o mueres en el intento". El episodio se centró en un mundo distópico donde el protagonista trabaja arduamente para nada en concreto más allá de comer y ver entretenimiento. Si es lo suficientemente talentoso puede llegar a los shows que son transmitidos dentro de el mismo espacio donde trabaja para entretener a otros. En el desarrollo del capítulo, se enamora y ayuda a esta persona a conseguir su sueño (cantar en los shows) pero entre ello, pierde a esa persona por una manipulación de los jueces del show de talento. La ira contenida hizo que volviera a trabajar arduamente para volver a verse cara a cara con los jueces y entonces le arroja miles de argumentos válidos respecto a su vida cotidiana que son frenados con una propuesta de ser parte del sistema o morir en ese lugar donde trabajaba sin cesar.

El tercer episodio me llegó al corazón por ser uno en el cual me sentí muy identificado con lo ocurrido. La trama se centra en un joven que vive en una sociedad donde todos tienen un chip que guarda sus recuerdos. Este chip permite revivir eventos y compartirlos con otros a través de una pantalla. En todo este contexto, va a una reunión de amigos y empieza a sospechar de su esposa y otro sujeto sobre un presunto romance. Tras analizarlo constantemente, descubre que si es verdad que su esposa lo engañaba, y peor aún, que su hija no era de él sino del otro sujeto. Todo se descubrió después de una noche donde se dedicó a ver sus memorias para hallar la verdad de todo, en ello va a donde el sujeto y le pide en medio de su embriagues que borre todos los recuerdos de su esposa y nota algo curioso. Al regresar a casa le hace una serie de preguntas a su esposa y allí ella confiesa lo que hizo.

Sin duda alguna mi episodio favorito de esta serie (hasta ahora) por sentirme como ese joven y su mala suerte. Me pasó algo muy similar hace unos años y reviví todo aquello que había ocurrido. Lo peor es que actué varias veces como él, de manera calculadora y dandole vueltas a todos los eventos hasta dar con lo ocurrido, con la verdad.
