Vienna from seven perspectives / Co-learning Report 20.02.2020
We arrived in Vienna on Sunday February 2nd at about 10-11 am. We went into the hostel, unpacked our luggage and went out exploring the city and our surroundings. The weather was amazing, but it was windy.
Short note: The views from our hostel at Wilhelminenberg are the best!
On the next day we met with our tutor Christoph @manncpt who is the Community Manager of the Global School. He told us what we have to do and what our tasks are. So we started to explore the city, to create and collaborate! :)

During our stay we explored a lot of amazing things, like a beautiful and majestic Schönbrunn and it's zoo, Prater, which we really enjoyed. We had a lot of fun with the arcade games and the racing cars (even though it was like a ghost city there) we visited many galleries, museums, monuments such as Kunsthistorisches Museum, the Albertina, Technisches Museum, MUMOK, MAK, Stephansplatz and many more.
And, of course, the DirtWater café which our mentor recommended us. It’s a very nice place there. We also went to Hug Inn and Spaces Square One. These two were our working spaces, where we worked on our tasks.
Let's go back to the assigned tasks. As the first task we had to create a mobile app design for contacts or edit a webpage. Four of us chose the app and one was working on a chart for the webpage. That was the designers' task. The photographers took pictures of the following days and wrote a blog about it.
After we finished the work on the app, we were told to design the corporate identity for one of Christoph's events – the CryptoBlogger. It is basically a workshop for people that want to know how to blog online while earning cryptocurrency.
So each one of us started on the design and couple of days later we had our initial ideas that we presented and one was chosen. But the other ones didn't disappear – we redesigned couple of things and they are going to be used for different projects. One for the Community Laboratory (we cooperated on that with our Hungarian colleagues) and the other ones for future projects.
Overall, it was an awesome experience to be here and able to participate on these interesting projects. It was also great to meet all the new people, try the delights of Vienna and Austria such as Wienerschnitzel, Sachertorte, Melange and many more...
We are grateful that we could have been here and it was for sure one of the best experiences for all of us. Thanks to everyone that made it incredible!
