A TV Show By CryptoGee
One of my past incarnations was as a video producer, from an early age I have always been fascinated with film, the process of getting a story from inside your head, to the screen has intrigued me ever since I can remember.
In 2011 I collaborated with a friend of mine, to develop an idea of his about a lovable, but hapless gambler called John Smallwood. We tussled and toiled for 2 years, scripting, filming, begging and borrowing, in-between our day jobs. In 2013 we finally finished the pilot and had a screening at the Westbourne Studios, on Portobello Road.
The story is semi-autobiographical, as it takes a look at some of the funny delusions that gamblers embroil themselves in whilst betting on sports. The Gambler gives the viewer a glimpse into a subculture that most people are aware, but few know the details of.
It was hoped that maybe someone would pick up The Gambler, refine it and turn it into a series, sadly that never happened, but it was fun and an experience making it. Now I get to dust off the cobwebs and share it with my fellow Steemites (By the way, I'm throwing Steemites into the mix, :-) ).
Please watch and enjoy;

LOL!!
Watched it all, really funny!
That was probably our favourite joke as well :-) lolz
I enjoyed watching this... I am just wondering if he wore the same QPR shirt the whole time? lol
obvious yes...
Haha, yes, at first we were going to use different football shirts. Then we changed it to; keep the shirt the same and changing to silly hats. Then we stuck at the QPR top and same hat, somehow we found that funnier. :-)
haha it goes well with the general conclusion that John is broke as hell from gambling!.. shirt is all wrinkle too LOL... good old english humour haha, love it mate!
Quality stuff Gee
Cheers bleeps :-)
