In the world of video games, there have always been franchises and characters that have had rivalries.

Those rivalries sometimes were played out in the games, while other times it was played out in the console sales and marketing wars. There have been a few games made that featured some of our favorite game hereos battling it out together, such as the Mario and Sonic winter games, and others. Super Smash Brothers is a great example, but some other more direct 1v1 games would have been cool to see.

What are some of the video game characters that you wish they had made game featuring a rivalry with another game hero?





MY PICKS:

#1 - A Mario Vs. Sonic game featuring Mario playing in a Sonic level enviroment, and/or Sonic playing in the Mario enviroment.

#2 - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Vs. Battletoads.

This should have been a thing back in the day, but it never came to be. The Battletoads Double Dragon games were awesome, and adding TMNT would have been epic.


#3 - Splatterhouse's Rick Character Vs. Jason Vorhees -

I mean, they both wear a white hockey masks and hack stuff up... makes sense right?


#4 - Megaman Vs. Samus from Metroid -

Mega man running around in the Metroid world would be kinda crazy to see and Samus getting Mega man power ups would also be cool.


#5 - Crash Bandicoot Vs. Sonic the Hedge Hog Vs. Mario -

I don't know how, but the 3 top heroes from the console wars need a game together... maybe an rpg of sorts?


#6 - Mortal Kombat Vs. Tekken Vs. Street Fighter -
Make a crazy fighting game with some of the greatest characters of all time!
