My favorite party game of all time, Super Smash Bros turns 18 years old this year. I'm extremely excited for a possible release of SSB for the Nintendo Switch, SSB on the go?! Could it get any better than that? In honor of the awesome game series I've decided to compose a list of 18 reasons to play...drum roll please!
Number 18:You can't decide which game you wanna play? Play Smash Bros, where you can play as all of your favorite characters!
Number 17:Mario + Laser Sword?! Is that even possible? In no Mario game will you ever find your hero wielding a sword...well you can do it here.
Number 16:Sudden Death! You know we've all done it, set the game to sudden death and ninety nine lives. If you're not familiar you're probably lying but, sudden death makes any hit kill you. Even a ricochet from Links arrow has the power to kill ya!
Number 15:It is available on four different consoles: N64, Gamecube, Wii & Wii U.
Number 14:There is no story line, you have no catch up to do. Just jump in & fight!
Number 13:Princess wars: You can watch Princess Peach fight Princess Zelda in a fight to the death!
Number 12:Mario vs. Luigi: You know that there is a little tension between Mario and Luigi because Mario gets all of the shine. Let them fight it out like the brothers that they are.
Number 11: Fight a giant hand, 'nuff said.
Number 10:Pokemon balls. A fan favorite is the randomness of throwing a pokeball. Mama always said lifes like a pokeball, never know what you're gon' get.
Number 9:Assert your dominance, every friend group has an elitist when it comes to Super Smash Bros. You can be the friend that destroys everyone!
Number 8:Play as Jigglypuff. Jiggypuff is the most fierce of all the pokemon, just kidding. I've never understood how this pokemon made the cut.
Number 7:Obstacle courses, these levels are made to be solo. They offer a great challenge.
Number 6:Be a better you, there is great people in this world. People who help, make change, say thank you. None of this means anything if you don't rock at Super Smash Bros!
Number 5:Win some money, who says you can't put a little wager on your battle? Well the government probably. You didn't hear it from me.
Number 4:Lose sleep! If there's one thing I always say it's that people get to much sleep. With this game you are guaranteed to lose sleep.
Number 3:No screen looking bullshit here. Tired of your friends screen looking in Call of Duty. Screw that you all share the same screen on SSB!
Number 2:Mini battles: The game allows you to make yourselves tiny. These prove to be very interesting battles. Especially on the larger levels.
Number 1:Get more chicks. It's a proven fact. Chicks are attracted to dudes who own n00bs on SSB.
The sad thing is I've had 18 years to become good at this game, and I still suck at it lol
