Assassin's Creed Syndicate is Free until Feb 27th

Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Syndicate, a Victorian parkour stealth game, is FREE at the Epic Game shop until Feb 27th. If you are unaware of the Assassin's Creed video game series, it is a historical fiction action/stealth adventure game, with usually very entertaining open world maps. Desmond Miles takes on the roles of various Assassins via a machine called the Animus and the memories of your assassin ancestor and experience the fight against the Templars. Not all the games are Desmond using the Animus (including this one) but most are.

In Assassin's Creed Syndicate you experience the life of the Assassin Jacob Frye during Victorian era and the Industrial Revolution. Historical figures in this entry of the series include, Charles Darwin, Charles Dickens and Queen Victoria. There are a few DLCs to buy. One of them is Jack the Ripper and looks pretty cool I have yet to play it.

The game series is also partially based on the novel Alamut and the Prince of Persia video games. If you have played the Prince of Persia series you will know what I mean. I just learned that it was almost a sequel to the Prince of Persia series. Kind of glad it became its own series but Prince of Persia was a great series as well.
