The grrrrrreat Samurai adventure Pt.1 (A FFXIV review)
Throughout early-access and the first week of FFXIV'S stormblood expansion, one could hardly log in & stay logged in due to the unanticipated high volume of players flocking to the game.
It was rather strenuous having to level Samurai from level 50-60 especially when all one wants to do is go see the new zones and continue with the main story quest.
But now almost two weeks after early access, I have finally arrived to some of the new zones and started the new main story quest.
Let's take a look together at the new features and zones the game has added.
After attain the true power of Samurai, we bury the past and look toward the eastern seas for new adventure
Our journey took us east and we finally arrive at Rhalgar's reach (it looks awesome)
The Ala mighan zones reminded me very much of FFXI's windurst zones mixed a bit with altepa dessert (due to the monsters)
Absolutely love it
Exploring around I managed to stumble upon this beauty and had to get a snapshot
As the story progresses you find yourself on the ocean headed east towards the Doma region I was beyond blown away by the amazing sites we saw when we arrived, take a look!
The only thing this place is missing is a Naruto style Ramen shop (hint hint SE)
Overall the new zones (thus far) have been amazing, the music is on point, the battle system improvements have been amazing for some while terrible for others (depending on your job/class)
The story is rich thus far and I expect it to be on pare with if not exceed the heavensward storyline though only time will tell.
Upvote & follow me for more content and I will be sure to do the same for you, thanks & Stay tuned for more !
