Android Founder Announces New Essential Phone Release Date
The much anticipated Essential Phone is not your ordinary smart phone roll-out. As the developer community surrounding the Google Play store and Android applications has become over-saturated, it has also produced a barrage of innovation. So it is understandable why Android fanatics would be overwhelmed with joy at the thought of Andy Rubin, the creator of Android, taking a break from funding artificial intelligence projects to develop his own smart phone specifically for the platform. While many devices have benefited from Android technology and contributed to the ant-iPhone movement, Android has yet to produce hardware specifically for it's software that could rival the nostalgia that comes with being an Apple iPhone owner. This is that moment. Rubin is also said to have a ecosystem of devices in the works that will collaborate seamlessly with the Essential Phone, everything from smart home devices to 360 attachable cameras.
Andy Rubin finally revealed when the company's new Essential Phone will be released.

What a fantastic effort, @vmsolutionsltd
I like your face.
Lol :D
Freaking finally. This was me a little more than a week ago...
I ultimately decided to go with the Essential Phone over the Pixel 2 (likely out in October) and the S8 because of Rubin's involvement (though the specs are, admittedly, incredibly attractive at the phone's price point).
I'm definitely looking forward to when it finally releases, especially when we get a specific launch date.

I've subscribed and followed. I'd like to get an essential phone or at least learn more about what makes it so essential. The IOT model definitely sounds interesting!
