Check out today's vlog where I unbox the Campark ACT74. This is a cheap action cam that got really great reviews on Amazon. I decided to give it a shot and see how it works! I use a professional grade camera for almost everything, but I felt like this could come in handy in certain situations.

    Duuude! I'm so glad I stumbled upon your post. <3 I am going for snowboarding trip in 2 weeks and was considering getting action cam, but wasn't up for GoPro. This seems like perfect replacement for it.

    Gonna check some YT reviews and order it asap <3

    how would this work for making content in the gym? Like shooting exercises and what not

    Honestly I haven't played with it enough yet to tell you. However I'd say these kind of cameras are only good for cool angles and super rough action shots. Like if you wanted to mount something to a cable machine grip and then get it as you are pulling on it that would be cool. But for recording full workouts and fancy videos go with a phone and above.

      I think the great thing about the GoPro cameras is the high video bitrate so that not much is lost to compression during quick movements or panning excetera, do you know if this option has similar features and footage quality?

        Only $50!? That sure is a lot cheaper than a GoPro! Can't wait for some new cool boosted board shots with that camera :D

            the go pros are cool though with a lot of very defined qualities that seperate it from it's competitors. Looking forward to the real world review
