Black Panther "Trailer"

In case you hadn’t heard by now, Black Panther is fantastic. It’s the best-reviewed superhero movie ever, is breaking box office records and doing so while being a hugely important moment for African-American representation in the genre.

I will have a longer, full review once I process the film and probably see it one or two more times, but I had to at least get some thoughts down now while it’s still fresh. What struck me the most about Black Panther was the depth of its cast, a truly fantastic collection of actors and actresses that are one of the best ensembles I’ve seen in any superhero film short of the Avengers movies themselves.
After the death of his father, T'Challa returns home to the African nation of Wakanda to take his rightful place as king. When a powerful enemy suddenly reappears, T'Challa's mettle as king -- and as Black Panther -- gets tested when he's drawn into a conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people.
