Axe throwing competition!
Recently I had the chance to attempt a lumberjack competition. One of the events that they had was an axe throwing contest. I definitely have to give these guys their kudos. Axes are sharp, dangerous and can cut your toes off if you accidentally drop the blade end onto your foot. The skill to throw them, with accuracy, and hit a target is quite impressive. Really cool stuff. Some might think the event is rather hokey, but it truly does take a lot of skill. If you ever get the chance to attend one of these types of events, do so. It is a blast!
