Cuyahoga County, Ohio investigators say they have confirmed that the man they knew as Joseph Newton Chandler III's real identity is Robert Ivan Nichols or some variation of Nicholas. However, marshals are looking for the public's help in figuring out why Nichols abandoned his family in the mid-1960s and later assumed a dead child's identity. Some suspect that Nichols could be the Zodiac Killer and internet sleuths are convinced police have found their man.
