Fishing trip Bay of Plenty New Zealand
Finally it was Friday the day of the fishing trip.
This trip was together with my colleagues organized by our employer.
The boat left from Mount Manganui harbor at 7:30. The sun was shining a perfect start of the day. The view is beautiful when you see the Mount and Papamoa from sea. When you do a trip like this you can feel why fishermen love their work.
After a couple of hours we stopped at the first spot. This was a good spot, we were busy because the fishes bite very well. We caught some nice Snappers and Kingfish also some big ones for @silvernova . But we were also busy with throw back the little ones.
On the second spot some colleagues caught some big Kahawais and one a nice Barracuda.
It was not a day for the biggest catch but it was a nice day to drink some beers, catch some fish, enjoy the beautiful winter weather and have fun.
Hopefully you like my video to get an impression.
Have a nice weekend!
It was a great day out on the boat @gerben . Glad to see you caught some fish, even if you had to kiss a couple and throw them back. Good company, good weather, good times.
Next time we do it again!
Upvoted 👍
Leuk om je hier te ontmoeten. Ik ga je volgen, je zal zeker mooie verhalen meemaken op jullie wereldreis.
Makes me really want to go back fishing. I used to live out in the Midwest and went to different lakes around the tristate area (KS/CO/NE, USA)I miss it. There aren't too many lakes out in Phoenix, haha.
Doesn't matter where you are, fishing is always fun. When I was younger I fished almost every day with my brother. I must do it more! Fish now, work later.
Fish now, work later. I'm going to remember that. Thank you.
Me too!
Fush!
