The VHS ERA, I bought my first video camera working at McDonalds. This was Big Time for 1993 considering the only time video was caught was by the News Stations. There was a lot to learn in this field. There were a lot of lessons learned along the way. Two things I have always loved in my life was the fire service and videography. I was happy to always catch fire action and departments doing their job. Unfortunately I was always looked at more of as the enemy than a friend. I have been prejudged and people just assume I am on scene to capture a negative although all I tried to do was show a positive. I wish people would have just talked to me and would have given me the time of day instead of just assuming the worse. I really don't regret anything, but I will say doing this for nearly 25 years, it has come with some hefty price tags.
