[DTube Exclusive] Voting Equality - is absolute equality possible?

One thing I like about the DTube team is it's ability to adjust and be flexible and listen to the people and creators. I really appreciate that. My question today is absolute voting equality possible and will it benefit the platform?

So I've seen chatter in various chat rooms about making the voting system more equal. I want to preface this by saying that any vote from a whale, whether it's a platform whale or just a normal (is that a thing?) whale, or any kind of whale is appreciated by me. For me, I see it as icing on the cake. Of course we would all love votes from whales. Who wouldn't?

Some people have suggested making voting equal across the board. I for one have taken a close look at the DTube curation and feel it's fair. I see some videos getting a specific % and others getting a lower or higher based on various criteria that is privy only to the DTube curation team (and I believe this shall remain so). In this video, I discuss why voting socialism will not work. I cite various examples in our society where socialism and 100% equality, while great in theory, does not work in the real world.

We cannot pay someone who washes dishes, the same we pay the Head of Cardiology at a Chidren's Hospital. Anymore than being able to pay a high level athlete with someone who plays the same sport in grade 8. It's just not possible. In the same way, creators cannot all be paid equal because there are differences in quality, appeal, aesthetics, sound quality, video quality, content value, etc, etc.
