If You Couldn't be at Churchill Downs, This is NEXT BEST!! (Found something other than real estate to write about)

If you couldn't make it to Churchill Downs for the Kentucky Derby don't feel bad! There's another race track in northeast Ohio were the racing was just as exciting. There weren't the usual pre-race festivities on the Kentucky bluegrass but it was festive non the less. Instead of sipping mint juleps on the veranda there were wonderful wines to enjoy leading up the most anticipated event of the year. The annual GOAT RACE at Wolf Creek Winery in Norton, OH had all the excitement of the Race for the Roses at Churchill Downs. You could sense you were walking the hallowed grounds (maybe not:) of such great champions as Man o' War, Secretariat, Seattle Slew, Affirmed, Assault, and American Pharoah. Yesterdays contestants were non other than Goat 1, Goat 2, 3, 4 and 5! :)
So if you can't THE DERBY, THE GOAT RACE is wonderful backup.
It was a memorable day and one I'll definitely attend again!
