To be successful we need to focus to the max and there will be not much room for other things but to get we have to give.
An old friend of mine who lived in Nepal with monks told me ones that he meet a guy there who can read minds but to learn that he toke 25 years and he had to leave everything he loved starting with food friends family and so on.
This shows that we have to give something up to be successful maybe not that extreme like the guy who can read minds but something for sure.

I don't know @stackin but what he wrote in the post you mentioned here is damn true.
