I would actually be okay with that for one reason: "still" traffic moves in a rhythm not unlike the movement of a caterpillar. If you view timelapsed footage of traffic - either from the POV of the driver like I shoot, or from a 3rd person perspective, such as traffic filmed from a building - you'll see a stop/go rhythm that mimics bloodflow, if you've ever seen microscopic footage of that. Would go very well with thumpy music. :)
