Why I think Steemit Will be the Next Wave of Social Media & Technology.... VLOG on Censorship, Experimenting on Steemit, Ideas for the Platform.

Hello Steemit!

Today I thought I'd give you a personal updated VLOG on why I think Steemit will be the next big thing in social media. You can watch the video or read the complete post below it. Social Media Censorship

YouTube is one of my favorite social media apps. I connect and learn from such amazing diversity on topics I do not see on any main stream media. Many, if not all YouTubers in the past year have experienced censorship, intimidation, and demonetization on there channels/videos. They speak on how it is such a problem and are always looking for new platforms that will be there to support them.

This is why I see Steemit & Dtube becoming a staple in the industry. Everyone knows they need to be free to do what they want online and capitalize on that if users are willing to donate, pay, or whatever. There should not be some gate keeper that decides what is morally correct and who should receive payment for there work. It's the age of technology independence! We do not need nor want people controlling anything.

This has been seen on all major platform from Facebook to Twitter. When there started to have "fake news" all over the web, Facebook put out a message to all users to point out any news that deemed fake. Then they would censor what they proclaimed not truth.

What happens when these corporations have so much influence, money, and power. They power trip! It is hard for any entity to be morally correct when you start to have major power in the world. This is why most people get corrupt once they have the power. It is almost like human nature, unless you are very aware and stick to your values.

Over time when many social media influences deal with this headache of control over them. They will start to make there way over to Steemit and Dtube. It will be the main platform for all. This could really be massive.

Steemit website appearance and theme

At first I was wondering why the Steemit platform looked so plain and dull. Just the other day though I noticed YouTube changed there appearance slightly to a more clear, whiteboard theme. Almost more like Steemit. Then I really started to look at all social media platforms and noticed they do all have a very simple look. I believe the look and theme will continue to be more plain and simple. Steemit is right on the ball of many things, including the look of the website. This is how I think the best cleanliest website will look moving forward.

New Feature I think would be great

When I am scrolling through the new tab section, I sometimes have a hard time finding a good post I want to read. People with higher reputation scores tend to have better written posts. I think it would be an awesome feature to be able to search by reputation score in the new tab section. This will help users find better content and users with higher reputation but low rewards will get more noticed.

Experimenting on Steemit

My experience on Steemit has been so wonderful. One reason is because I get to test and learn how to market better on social media. Every post, comment, and everything in between is testing on how people respond, do they engage, did my post do better this way or that way?

This is amazing to become a marketing, advertising, sales manic... which will benefit you in so many ways as we continue to move forward in the technology age. Being able to hold peoples interest, have them engaged, keeping there attention where you want it, is sooooo beneficial. Once you can do that, you will be very successful!
